I have a nursing, midwifery, lactation consultant (IBCLC), health promoter/advocate background. Born and bred with career beginnings in Bradford, West Yorkshire, England. Now live in New Zealand in post-disaster Christchurch. Post-grad studies at the University of Otago in Dunedin. Passionate about human rights – particularly in and around birth, breastfeeding, infant and young child feeding, mothers and babies in prison, and neonatal intensive care units. Love the environment and fearful of short-sighted economic greed, putting all ‘our’ eggs in one basket and too many cows.
